{bible study table}

Yesterday Shell and I were on our way to purchase our bible study table from Target and we thought that we should stop by WalMart and see what they have. So that is exactly what we did and sure enough they had the exact table that we wanted and it was cheaper. This table is very special to Shell and I because of its purpose.

The purpose of this table is to provide a place that her and I will start our days together. It is a place that we are going to meet God face to face every morning! We will gather for devotional time and spend time seeking the Truth!
After we got it all setup we sat down and prayed for God's blessing on those times that we spend investing our lives into the Word. Shell and I have a desire to be used more than every by our savior and we want to make a difference!

{thought}

It seems that we all have these things called "thoughts". Where do they all come from? There are so many ideas and thoughts that are in my head. If I have this many thoughts then does that mean everyone else this many? God has created this amazing thing called a mind and it is far more powerful than anything here on this earth. It is through these thoughts that our bodies know how to breath and tells our hearts to pump the right amount of blood through our body. It is this mind that allows us to understand the things around us and we could go even further to say that it allows us to know the very one that created us!

We are so blessed with the visions and hopes that we have! If we did not have this amazing gift we could not be us. What is so much crazier about this is that everyone is different!! Even if we all looked identical we would be very much different.

I was given this book called "The Dream Giver" and it talks about it is God that gives these dreams and ambitions and how sometimes we are given a dream that God wants us to surrender
to him. It is when we surrender this dream to him that he gives us a much bigger and better dream! It is amazing! Anyways... I just had an awww moment that I had to share. We are not the owners of our thoughts but stewards of our thoughts. God allows us to have thoughts and think things our but I believe that we are stewards of the thoughts. So if we are to be Christ followers then we also need to be careful about our thoughts.
